Sam Reyes was born in Stamford, Texas and raised in Abilene. After graduating from Law School in 1986, he came back home and started representing injured victims across Texas. For over 30 years Sam has been helping families who have lost loved ones or sustained severe injuries in all types of accidents, including trucking and auto, motorcycle, oilfield, on the job, premises liability, and medical and nursing home negligence. As a bilingual attorney, Sam communicates with his clients in both English and Spanish and serves their needs with understanding and compassion.
Growing up in Abilene, Sam learned the value of hard work from his parents and grandparents, and his dedication, hard work and commitment to his clients continue to reflect those values. Sam is an AV (Preeminent) rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and had devoted his entire legal career holding corporations, insurance companies, truckers, and other wrongdoers accountable for their actions. Sam has an extremely successful track record helping injury victims recover compensation from big insurance companies and other wrongdoers.
Sam is married to his high school sweetheart, Melanie Reyes, an elementary school teacher, and they have three children with whom he spends the vast majority of his free time. Sam’s daughter, Chloe Garces, is also an attorney and works with Sam. Sam and his family are active members of Holy Family Catholic Church in Abilene. Sam enjoys hunting and fishing but his true passion is hunting with his children and dad on the family farm in Jones County.
